Our Products
Backyard Clay makes quality unpainted ceramic bisque ware from vintage ceramic molds and we are meticulous about cleaning.
We take some of the vintages molds and alter them into a functional pipe. Our N-KOG-NEATO ceramic pipes are
designed to give a large cool draw. The bowls keep the fire going without getting too hot to touch and they clean better than glass pipes or metal pipes and are dishwasher safe.

More than Just a Store
N-Kog-Neato ceramic pipes are A well-functioning pipe that hides in plain sight as a beautiful piece of art.
Our original N-Kog-Neato pipes are made with vintage ceramic molds and quality low fire slip.
Each mold casting is delicately altered into a pipe. Once they are dry they are cleaned to insure functionality, then bisque fired to 1495 degrees Fahrenheit.
The bisque ware is hand painted and glazed with food safe glaze, then into the kiln again for another low fire for 6 hours.

Our Creative Team
Backyard Clay is a small family owned business. Denise retired from the Corporate world and purchased thousands of ceramic molds, learned a new trade and started creating unique and functional ceramic pipes and unpainted ceramic bisque. Now we sell our wares on our online gift shop.
Steve is a retired Air Force Disabled Veteran enjoying life through art and enjoys working in clay and metal mediums.
